My brother downloaded a program on his PC and made this for me on his first try in 5 minutes. We hope to week it up and expand on all the capibilities of this music program.
Thanks Bro!
I have a Motorola XOOM and because I have a Google Voice number it allows me to make calls and text on my XOOM without any extra cost besides my data package. The package I have is only $30 for 2 Gigabytes and if I go over I will be charged $10 a Gigabyte.
The application I use to make calls works over 3G, 4G and wifi so it always works and it allows me to surf and talk at the same time. I also added the application on my Motorola Droid X and with that application I also can talk and surf the web the same time.
I realize this 4G network race will change how we use or devices. The voice part of mobile phone will not be needed anymore. When everyone has shared data packages for family plans I can see families paying $150 for 5 smartphone with talk text and web. If you want to know more contact me at http://mobilewiseguy.com
Michael Philips promoted a mountain bike race in Trinidad and it happen I was in Trinidad the same time as the race. I knew he had this event because he promoted it on Facebook. I did reply I might be attending as I was not sure I would be in Trinidad at the same time.
I have never seen a mountain bike race live and I my bike is a mountain bike. I never rode on a mountain bike trail or even seen one in person. The current champion happens to work at Mike’s Bikes and is the favored to win today.
I started writing this post in my car because it was raining when I got here. I am using my Motorola Xoom to write this post and take the pictures of this event.
It stopped raining and the race has not started as yet so this will be a muddy one.
Yesterday I went to a presentation for Video Talk. The company is a multilevel company that sells a technology to use video in emails, web shows, video conferencing with up to sixteen users and presentations.
The meeting was all about how much money you could make but nothing about the technology behind the service. Shop AT&T now for Free Phones! 2 year agreement and restrictions apply.
I found a technical guy who showed me how it works and it did work great. I had a email sent to me and in the email the video was already embedded with a great customized template. I also went to a site that had the videos on it and the both work flawlessly. The videos work with Flash so it won’t work on iPhones or iPads and that seem funny because the company gives out iPads as prizes.
I like the concept and the compensation package but I think they will have to battle all the new free technologies like Skype, Tango and others for this growing market.
There price is $49. 99 per month for all of the features. I can do some of the services they offer now for free but not as fancy as the embedded video or the template but I can do for free.
The best feature was the 16 person videoconferencing but I did not see a example of that service.
I have been wearing this band now for about a month and a half and if it is in my mind cool because it works for me and without any side effects. I only wish they had bands that would help me do other things better like math and spelling or sell mobile phones and devices better.
A lot of things in life is mental and if it works for you don’t knock it.
I went from Blackberry Storm 2 to a Droid X yesterday. Earlier this month I had switch out my Blackberry Curve on Verizon for a Blackberry Storm 2 and what’s mistake that was. The Storm was not user friendly for someone who is used to the Blackberry keyboard and some of the normal short cuts that I am used too on a Blackberry does not work on the Storm 2. I did like the video player capability and the faster EVDO Rev A speed. The Blackberry Curve 8350 was Rev O and when I watch Vcast Videos on the Curve the video froze a lot or skipped but on the Storm it was seemless.
The Storm did give me problems when my hands were cold and yesterday the screen was so unresponsive I could not make calls or send messages. That promt me to buy a Android phone the Droid X.
This post is done with the X and the WordPress application from the Android Market.
My brother told me the other day that I have the strongest chicken legs he has ever seen. So I decided to have a video taken of myself doing the leg press machine at La Fitness in Tampa. I wore my Verizon Wireless cap to also try and promote myself as the Verizon Guy in Tampa but the person taking the video did not do the best job. I was hoping by posting this video to Youtube, Qik, Facebook and this Blog I will get a lot of hits promoting my business selling Verizon Wireless Products and Services in Tampa, Florida. I want to do quick video post using my cell phone to take the video and then uploading from the phone to YouTube so it can be used on my Blog.
My options are I can take a short video now with my Blackberry Bold 9700 and MMS the video to YouTube. The video is sent as a multimedia message to YouTube and the anyone can see your video on YouTube. After the video is uploaded to Youtube it can be link to websites and or Blogs.
The issue I have is that a MMS video is only 30 seconds and the quality is not as good as the higher resolution videos that can be taken with the Blackberry Bold 9700. A normal video can be a few minutes long or as long as you have room on your media card.
I have a few other ways to upload longer and better quality videos to YouTube. First is to take a good quality video with the phone which is recorded on the SD card. Then take my SD media card use the SD adapter to upload the video from my laptop or desktop to YouTube.
Secondly is using my Motorola Backflip it let’s me upload videos taken with it directly to YouTube without the 30 second restriction. I am sure it has something to do with Google owning Android mobile operating system and Youtube. My first test was a 5 minute video I took waiting for the draw bridge to open.
I have told clients about that option with Android Smartphones but there success has been with videos under 30 seconds when the video is a few minutes long they have to have a WiFi connection for the video to upload.
I found a fix for that using Qik. I used to use Qik with my Blackberry Bold 9000 but now that I use a Blackberry Bold 9700 the Qik application on the 9700 is not supported. I still download the Qik application through my Blackberry browser and used it to upload the video that I already had taken. I am going to caution anyone who does this, it is not supported.I know that I have to stop right after and close the application and then I do a hard reset but I am the Mobile Wise Guy of Cell Phones. After uploading the video I embed it into my Blog.
The video below was taking at Universal Studios on New Years Eve 2009 with my Blackberry Bold 9700.
