After Hurricane Ian

I took a motorcycle ride throughout Tampa Bay after hurricane Ian

On October 1st, 2022, the weekend after Hurricane Ian hit Florida’s east coast, I took a motorcycle ride throughout the Tampa Bay area. I jumped on my 1998 Harley Davidson 1200 sportster in the cool 70-degree weather. I started in Westchase where I live and went through the back roads to Tarpon Springs and road along the coast previewing what damage if any was done.

My first stop in Tarpon Springs was the Sponge Docks. I stopped and took a picture of the boats in the dock. Then I continued from old highway 19 to Ozona and to Honeymoon causeway stopping at Sail Honeymoon to take a few more pictures. I jumped back on old 19 to Dunedin docks and continued to Safety Harbor. I took pictures of a few spots showing that these areas did not get any damage from Hurricane Ian. The pictures were mostly of the coastline where if there was damage this is where it would have been. By looking at the pictures below you will see that these areas were not damaged at all. We were incredibly lucky to get the other rings of the hurricane and not the main force.

It was a beautiful day, and you would not have known a hurricane passed a few days earlier. They say Tampa is protected from severe weather because of the Scared Indian mounds and you can read an article about these mounds that protect Tampa from hurricanes. I also did a post a few months ago on May 4 to commensurate the Star Wars tribute for that day.

Cat pictures from July 2022

I am uploading few pictures of my cats using Samsung to Windows sync. I was able to see and open my apps from my phone and when add pictures on this post from my phone. I usally have an issue uploading multiple pictures and longer videos. This is a test to see if this will fix the issues.

Nope the uploading of pictures still eludes me why it fails even if it is just two at a time and sometimes one.
