My Battle with LinkedIn Verification: Sharing My Story

Below is mostly ChatGPT words but the point is the same.

Hey everyone,

I’ve been wrestling with something that might sound familiar to many of you. Despite having a LinkedIn profile for over five years, I’ve repeatedly hit a wall trying to get it verified. No luck. It’s frustrating, to say the least.

Today, I decided to take this issue public. I shared my experience on LinkedIn, Facebook, and X, explaining the challenges I’ve faced with this verification process. It’s odd considering how important verification is for credibility and visibility in our digital world.

The profile shows Curtis wearing a fedora and highlights his role as an AT&T Business Wireless Consultant with specialties in new lines, upgrades, and process improvement. Notably, it displays the prompt to add a verification badge, emphasizing his ongoing struggle with obtaining LinkedIn verification despite his extensive experience and credibility in the field

But I’m not just venting here. I’m also looking for every chance to turn this situation into an opportunity—specifically, an SEO opportunity. This post on CurtisMatthews.com is part of that effort. By connecting this blog post with the discussions happening on my social platforms, I’m aiming to boost our visibility and drive more engagement.

My post on LinkedIn asks for help getting verified.

I’m curious to hear from you all. Have you faced similar challenges with professional platform verifications? How have you managed, and do you have any tips that might help?

Stay tuned, and let’s see if this push helps make any headway with LinkedIn.

Thanks for following along!

When I got to the end of the Pier, I was surprised people were fishing. There was so a bait and tackle shop at the end of St Pete Pier.
